Having completed your open water course, this is your opportunity to take the next step. Forget taking your mask off and retrieving your regulator, you are now ready for something more challenging. Learn how to navigate, identify all the fish that you’ve seen swim past and check out the challenges of diving deeper.

 

This course has 2 compulsory dives, deep and navigation, plus 3 others from a list of 17. We generally try to get you a wreck dive plus 2 others from a list including Search and Recovery, Drift, Photography, Naturalist,  Fish Identification and more. Tell us what your interests are and we will do our best to accommodate your choice!

 

The theory is minimal compared to Open Water and is all about the experience. It generally takes 2 days and involves at least one day on the boat 2 dives and 1 day 3 dives on the shore.

All dives done on your Advanced course can be credited as the first dive for any of the corresponding PADI Specialities.

Specialities give you a more in depth knowledge and more advanced skills in your chosen area.

When certified as an Advanced Diver you will be able to dive to 30 metres and have enhanced navigation skills with experience in wreck diving, boat diving deep diving and more.
