Deep Speciality

This course is strongly recommended for divers wishing to extend their range to 30-40 meters. The Deep Speciality course consists of 4 dives, plus theory extended from the Advanced Open Water course. It looks at deep dive planning in more detail, narcosis, decompression sickness, emergency decompression stops, colour change underwater and equipment requirements for the extra depth..

 

The course takes two days to complete with the 30+ meter dive taking place on the second day boat trip. The theory can be completed during the course, or prior to the start, with the book included in the course fee.
