PADI Dive Master only $699

As you sit at work remembering your last dive trip, you’re thinking about how good it would be to give up work to dive all the time in remote and exotic locations. If only… Well this is it, the first step on the professional ladder, and the gateway to a career in the dive industry. PADI Dive Masters provide support and assistance to PADI Instructors, they teach some courses independently and  supervise diving operations on boats around the world. Yes, the person who was around on your last dive trip making sure that everything was running smoothly was probably a Dive Master. Instructors are usually the ones discussing the benefits of

continuing education with there students and working through the knowledge reviews for the next dive.

We prefer to run the Dive Master course as an internship, allowing you to learn about the practical aspects of the dive industry and assist Instructors on as many different courses as possible. There is a considerable theoretical component to this course covering physics, physiology, equipment, decompression theory and skills and environment.

Books registration and medical if required are extra

There are many practical sections based on the duties and assistance that Dive Masters can provide to student divers, certified divers and Instructors.  During these practical sessions you will learn how to lead divers in open water, prepare for dives, and map dive sites. You will study what PADI standards relate to, and the courses you will be able to teach when you certify as a Dive Master. The time scale varies dependant upon your previous experience.  You do require 20 dives to start and 60 dives to complete the course, and we are quite happy to accommodate those who wish to do it part time.
