Rescue Diver only $350 inc books

Diving has risks like any other sport. Knowing how to avoid the risks and what to do if the worst happens, is a definite advantage. The Rescue Diver course shows you how to plan your dives, to minimise the risks in terms of equipment and mental/physical preparation. You will be taught how to rescue a diver in distress before it becomes a major problem.  This course requires you to have First Aid training (see First Aid page if you do not have First Aid training). The Rescue Diver course is both a mentally and physically challenging, but extremely rewarding and will change your perspective on how you plan and execute your dives.

 

The course runs over 3 days, plus 1 extra day if the First Aid course is required. Practice initially begins in the pool, or confined water, before moving up to full scale simulations in the ocean. Theory components can be completed in advance or on the first day of the course.

 

This is a course that we would strongly recommend. Whether you are diving with a buddy or in a remote location this course will prepare you for any incident that may arise.  Rescue Diver is a requirement for Master Scuba Diver, the highest non professional rating in the PADI system.
